Teresa Marsili Gilchrist on Instagram: "I teach one section of ceramics 1 in the spring and we always start with pinch pots. We do two pinch pots - one with impressed texture and one with sgraffito. This reel shows the impressed texture pots. My professors called this “impressing” in college, but some teachers call it “pressed” some call it “stamping”… whatever you call it, it’s a great technique for beginners. You get nice clean lines, which can be tough with carving. Highly recommend! #ceramic
