MANILA — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday disputed Beijing’s latest advisory warning Chinese students of safety risks in the Philippines, noting many Chinese nationals who fall victim to crimes in the country are often targeted by fellow Chinese. In a media briefing at Camp Crame, PNP chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III said the advisory has no basis and was part of China’s supposed propaganda “designed to shape a narrative."
