Here is my needle felted Mandarin Duck. For this most colourful bird with complex feather shapes I designed layers and patterns to suggest feathers and wings. I fringed the edge of the sail feathers to add a tactile texture to my wool sculpture. It’s almost finished and celebrations will soon commence.
