Prayer is often described as changing outcomes. But if God has a perfect plan, nothing actually needs changing. If prayer alters the outcome, then the plan wasn’t perfect. If it doesn’t, then the prayer didn’t cause the outcome. Saying “God knew you’d pray” just folds the prayer into the plan without explaining what it changes. Either way, prayer isn’t doing what it’s usually understood to do. #atheism #religion #deconstruction #criticalthinking #philosophy
