Teens learn life saving skills. The Explorer program is a unique hands on, skill building, learning experience for young adults ages 14-20 years old. One of the first training experiences they go through is the 9 week Explorer Academy. At the Explorer Academy they learn the value of team work, accountability, and dedication. The Honolulu Police Department’s Law Enforcement Explorer Program (LEEP) is now recruiting. The LEEP is a comprehensive program with a focus on training, competition, community service, and practical experiences. The program provides opportinitunities to improve on public speaking, working as a team to accomplish a goal, and making friendships that can last a lifetime.
