Frontline staff from Launceston General Hospital’s Acute Medical Unit (AMU) cut the ribbon to officially open nine new negative pressure isolation rooms last week. AMU has been the hospital’s main, specialist COVID-19 ward since the start of the pandemic and is an integral part of the LGH’s COVID frontline.
