The New Rome Motel was officially shut down today, following legal action by the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office. At noon, all residents were required to vacate the property, located along West Broad Street near Doctors West Hospital. Our deputies assisted with the closure, and the process was completed without incident. This action follows numerous complaints and repeated calls for service. Since 2024 alone, Deputies have responded to the location more than 80 times. The Prosecutor‘s Office
