Spring springs with a new hot spring! This tiny feature recently emerged in a meadow next to Mammoth Hot Springs. Not much larger than a dinner plate, its shape already mirrors the terraced formations seen along the nearby boardwalks. The rapid growth of travertine makes Mammoth Hot Springs one of the most dynamic areas of the park.
