In 1986, WGRZ Channel 2, “Dr. Dirty” John Valby & the Buffalo Sabres collaborated to produce a rock music video for use in schools and during the annual “Kids Escaping Drugs” Telethon. The project, dreamed up by producer Lynn Helmsteadt, brought 21 Sabres players to Select Sound Studios to lay down the track.
