Trailing cows 8 miles to corn stalks. Took less than 3 hours and cows behaved themselves very well. Glad to have a good horse and dogs to help. Toughest part was crossing the highway. We had a vehicle on each side with flashers and a radio to let us know when it was safe to cross. We started the summer with 6 bunches of cattle and now we have condensed them to 2 bunches and both are grazing corn stalks.
