A RAVEN'S DIET: This is Hello, our Common Raven, enjoying some of his diet. As part of his daily husbandry, volunteers or staff will take him out to our Nature Cove to hop around and explore. Hello has a wing impairment so he is unable to fly, but he likes to explore along the ground and sit in the sun. Ravens are omnivorous, meaning they eat both meat and vegetation. Patient Release: Common Raven This Common Raven was admitted to our Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital in mid-May as a fledgling after he was found lingering around the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City. When he arrived at Cedar Run, he was lethargic and thin. Our Wildlife Rehabilitators provided him with supportive care and an excellent diet to bring him back to health.
