Happy worms 🪱, happy you 😌!!! I do these 3 things each time I feed my worms to ensure balance and harmony. It’s always good to aerate your bin as it redistributes microbes and worms to get the job done in all parts of the bin. Feeding towards the bottom will definitely save you come summer since having the food on top can bring unwanted guests (think fruit flies and gnats). The soil is prime 🤌🏼🤌🏼 Aerated and added to between each crop with manure, compost and mulch plus the addition of worms from my worm farm years ago have meant there are a lot of them (they triple population every few months). They break down the soil so its always fluffy amazing and leave their castings (poo) behind which adds extra nutrients to the soil. I’ve currently got 2 worm cafes I’ve had for years that I put a lot of our food scraps into-2026 I want to aim to add nearly all of it as
